style... My aim is to create classic, natural portraits that capture a moment in a person’s life, in a way that will give them pleasure for a long time to come as they look back at that moment, and at that photograph. I prefer to photograph people in an atmosphere that makes them comfortable, and the photographs are much more personal if they have a familiar background, maybe a place which is particularly special – whether it’s a favourite part of the house or garden, the local beach, or a park where you like to play or walk the dog. Children in particular are more relaxed in an environment they know and with their toys around them! I come to you to make it as easy as possible and I allow two hours to give us plenty of time to relax into it and get creative.

delivery... Once I’ve selected and edited the best photographs, I present them to you and we chat through your options. You can choose prints, frames, canvases, photobooks, calendars, collages... I am happy to give you recommendations and to play around with combinations of images to create a finished product that you love. I can also deliver directly within the UK using my suppliers over there for those of you with family and friends on the other side of the world.

prices... Within the Auckland area, I charge a sitting fee of $150 to cover the photography session, which includes a CD of low resolution images for you to review. If you live outside Auckland, I am happy to discuss the fee. The finished portraits are charged depending on how many and what sizes you want, with prints starting from $45.
